Lab 4 is not yet available, but we make good progress with it. The contents is not yet official, but our goal is to make a lab which does not introduce any new APIs but rather focuses on working with geometry. So it will be more about programming the mathematics than lab 1 and 2 were. I think you will also learn some useful things that will help in many of your projects.
If possible, we will upload preliminary lab material some time before the official lab 4, but I can't promise that yet. Uploading untested material is dangerous and may have you struggling with the wrong things. We continue developing and you will see results soon. |

So is there a lab yet? Almost. We have done testing during the weekend (when not wintersporting) and we believe that we are on the right track. Will I dare pre-releasing early in the week? Maybe. I have a decent lab shell to work from and a set of assignments.
We are discussing what parts that should be mandatory, since we want to give you more freedom in this lab than in the first three, and finding a level that is more useful and enjoyable than hard.
On the tuesday lecture, I plan to have most of it official. |
